I wanted to let you know how much my surgery meant to me. It basically gave me my life back by allowing me to sit, stand, walk and even sleep without pain. The swelling and pressure are gone. I can wear normal shoes again and don't have to wear compression hose constantly like before.

I can't thank you enough. By treating the problem and not just the symptoms you are giving a cure. You and your staff are not only competent, but caring, kind and personal. This means so much when you are hurting.

Thanks to you, I can now take care of my family and do the normal things we take for granted. As an added bonus, my legs look so much better. I don't have to be embarrassed to wear shorts.

Dr. John Kingsley was a God send for me. I would almost cry at night with my legs. I heard about Dr. Kingsley through a friend in Gadsden. I have been a florist all my life and have stood on concrete floors all these years of working. My legs would hurt so bad it would make me sick. Dr. Kingsley told me he could help me. I have been very pleased with the results from the surgeries that have been performed on my legs. I no longer have the ropy veins in my legs, pain or ulcers in my feet.

At age 77, after more tests than I care to think about and discouraging reports from orthopedic, vascular, and cardiology doctors, I found Dr. John Kingsley and the wonderful staff at Alabama Vascular & Vein Center. I suffered severe discoloration, swelling, and blisters from calf to ankle on both legs. There were few shoes I would get on my swollen feet. Dr. Kingsley's orientation answered all questions and his easy, caring attitude quieted all my concerns about this seemingly radical "cure". Everyone at the Center was so kind and made me feel comfortable and important. I highly recommend that anyone with leg problems attend a seminar and have this procedure if Dr. Kingsley says he can help them. A friend gave me Dr. Kingsley's name and I made the most important doctor's appointment I have ever made. Dr. Kingsley is the kindest, most considerate doctor I have ever met. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kingsley and his staff. I have had varicose veins in my right leg for longer than I can remember, possibly as early as my 20s. I have always been very self conscious about them. I was the only person wearing long pants in the heat of summer.

I started investigating several years ago the treatment options for my veins while still in Virginia. I went to two doctors there, got two different opinions, and I did not feel comfortable with either.

When I moved to Alabama I heard Dr. Kingsley's name mentioned three times as the doctor to see for varicose veins. I called and made my appointment and was very impressed with the information that was sent to me prior to my appointment. On my first appointment day I was even more impressed with the time Dr. Kingsley took to explain varicose veins to all his new patients.

It has been almost a year since I had my surgery and I am very pleased with the results. I have recommended Dr. Kingsley to anyone who mentions varicose veins or spider veins.
